Saloon Overview
Saloon Overview is a mini, salon-specific dashboard at the top of the Saloon & Spa menu. It shows how many appointments are booked today, revenue collected from completed visits, how many future bookings are upcoming, and a quick look at today's schedule alongside your most popular active services.
Overview
The page loads today's appointments and the full service list in parallel (independently — one failing does not block the other from rendering) and derives four stat cards: Today's Appointments, Today's Revenue, Upcoming and Active Services.
It is a pure summary — there is no add/edit here. The Today's Appointments and Active Services cards are clickable and jump straight to Appointments or Service Menu.
Below the stat cards, two panels show Today's Schedule (every appointment booked for today, sorted by time, with a colour-coded status pill) and Popular Services (the first 8 active services in the order the API returns them — not ranked by actual bookings).
This page only exists in the Saloon & Spa variant; it is the first item in the "Saloon & Spa" section of the sidebar, appended after all the standard pos-app menus.
Before You Start
- You must have the Billing feature enabled on your plan — the same gate used for the rest of the billing menu.
Step-by-Step Guide
1 Check today's salon activity at a glance
- Open Saloon & Spa → Saloon Overview.
- The four stat cards show: Today's Appointments (all appointments dated today, any status), Today's Revenue (sum of Amount across today's appointments with status DONE only), Upcoming (future-dated appointments that are not CANCELLED) and Active Services (services with Active = on in the Service Menu).
- Click Today's Appointments or Active Services to jump straight to Appointments or Service Menu.
2 Review today's schedule
- The "Today's Schedule" panel lists every appointment dated today, sorted by time, with customer name, service name and a colour-coded status pill (Booked/Confirmed/In Progress/Done/Cancelled).
- If nothing is booked for today, the panel shows "No appointments today".
3 Review your popular services
- The "Popular Services" panel lists up to 8 currently Active services with category, duration and price.
- If no services exist yet, the panel shows "No services yet".

Popular Services panel | Up to 8 Active services in API return order (not sorted by actual popularity/bookings), with category, duration and price. |
Tips & Best Practices
- Because Today's Revenue only counts DONE appointments, a busy day can still show ₹0 here until you advance appointments through their status stages (or check them out) on the Appointments page.
- "Popular Services" is a naming convenience only — it is not actually ranked by booking count, so do not use it to judge which services genuinely sell best; check Reports for real sales data instead.
