Delivery Zones
Delivery Zones lets you define bands of delivery distance (e.g. 0–3 km, 3–7 km) each with its own delivery fee (flat or per-kilometre), a minimum order amount to qualify, and an estimated delivery time — so pricing and expectations can vary sensibly with how far an order needs to travel.
Overview
Each zone is defined by a Min and Max Distance in km (leave Max blank for "and beyond", i.e. unlimited upper bound).
Fee Type is either Flat (a fixed ₹ amount per delivery in that zone) or Per KM (a ₹ rate multiplied by distance) — the form label changes to match your selection.
A zone can be toggled Active/Inactive without deleting it — inactive zones are shown dimmed in the list and presumably excluded from live fee calculation until reactivated.
Minimum Order Amount and Estimated Time are both zone-specific, so a farther zone can require a higher minimum order and quote a longer delivery estimate than a nearby one.

Every Field & Button, Explained
| Field / Button | What it does |
|---|---|
Zone Name | Required, free text — used purely for identification in the zone list. |
Min / Max Distance (km) | Defines the distance band this zone covers; leaving Max Distance blank means "this distance and beyond" with no upper limit. |
Fee Type | Flat (fixed ₹ per delivery) or Per KM (₹ rate × distance). |
Delivery Fee | The ₹ amount (flat) or ₹ rate per km, depending on Fee Type. |
Min Order (₹) | Minimum order subtotal a customer must reach to qualify for delivery in this zone. |
Est. Time (min) | Estimated delivery time shown to customers/staff for orders in this zone; defaults to 30 minutes. |
Status | Active or Inactive — inactive zones remain configured but are shown dimmed and can be reactivated at any time. |
Tips & Best Practices
- Set Max Distance to blank on your outermost zone so every address beyond your named zones still gets a fee and estimate rather than falling through with no applicable zone.
- Use Per KM pricing for very spread-out delivery areas and Flat pricing for a compact, uniform coverage area — you can mix both fee types across different zones.
