Feedback QR

Feedback QR is a single, store-wide QR code (not per-table) that guests scan to rate Food Quality, Service, Ambiance and Wait Time — with a Dashboard showing category rating bars and star distribution, a Comments feed of recent written feedback, and a Setup tab with the QR code itself, a copyable URL, setup instructions, and a preview of the guest-facing form.

📍 Menu path: Loyalty & Marketing → Feedback QR
👤 Who uses it: All roles with the Reports feature enabled

Overview

The Dashboard tab shows a rating bar per category — Food Quality, Service, Ambiance, Wait Time — plus a star-rating distribution chart, over a selectable date range (default last 30 days).

The Comments tab lists recent written feedback entries so you can read guest comments directly rather than only seeing aggregate scores.

The Setup tab shows the printable QR code, the underlying feedback URL (with a Copy URL button), step-by-step setup instructions (print and place the QR, guests scan and rate, ratings appear on the Dashboard instantly, aim for 4.5+ and reply to low scores within 24 hours), and a preview of what the guest-facing form actually asks.

The feedback URL is scoped to your business and store (not an individual table) — `/#/feedback?t=&s=` — so this is one QR per store location, in contrast to Guest Feedback's per-table QR cards.

This shares its underlying data with Guest Feedback (same `/restaurant/feedback` and `/restaurant/feedback/stats` endpoints) — Feedback QR gives you the category-rating dashboard and a single store-wide QR/setup flow, while Guest Feedback gives you the full searchable/resolvable feedback list with per-table QR linking.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

The Dashboard shows no ratings yet.
Confirm the QR code has actually been printed and placed somewhere guests will scan it — a feedback dashboard with no submissions is expected until the QR is in active use.
Copy URL doesn't seem to do anything.
It writes the feedback URL to your clipboard via the browser — paste it somewhere to confirm, and check your browser hasn't blocked clipboard access.
