Restaurant Reports
Restaurant Reports is the main analytics dashboard — KPI cards for covers, revenue, tables turned and average table time, an hourly covers heatmap across the week, revenue broken down by category, a top-selling items list, a table turn time leaderboard, and reservation conversion (booked vs no-show vs seated) — all filterable by date range.
Overview
The KPI strip at the top summarises Covers, Revenue, Tables Turned and Average Table Time for the selected date range.
The Hourly Covers Heatmap shows a Mon–Sun × 8am–11pm grid, with cell intensity proportional to covers seated in that hour — the fastest way to spot your actual peak windows rather than guessing from memory.
Revenue by Category is a horizontal bar chart breaking total revenue down by menu category, and Top Selling Items lists your best sellers for the period.
The Table Turn Time Leaderboard ranks tables (or sections) by how quickly they turn over, and Reservation Conversion shows the split between booked-and-seated, no-shows, and walk-ins for the period.
Use the date presets — Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days — or a custom range to scope every section of the dashboard at once.
Before You Start
- You must have the Reports feature enabled on your plan.
- You need some transaction and reservation history in the selected date range for the charts to be meaningful.
Step-by-Step Guide
1 Review overall performance for a period
- Open Restaurant Reports and pick a date range preset (or a custom range).
- Scan the KPI strip for Covers, Revenue, Tables Turned and Average Table Time.
- Drill into the heatmap, category chart, top items, turn-time leaderboard and reservation conversion sections as needed.
2 Find your peak hours
- Open the Hourly Covers Heatmap for a wider range (e.g. Last 30 days) to smooth out single-day noise.
- Look for the darkest cells across the week to identify your genuine peak windows for staffing and reservation-slot planning.
3 Spot slow-turning tables
- Open the Table Turn Time Leaderboard.
- Identify tables or sections consistently turning slower than the rest, and investigate service or seating causes.
Every Field & Button, Explained
| Field / Button | What it does |
|---|---|

Hourly Covers Heatmap | Mon–Sun × 8am–11pm grid; darker cells mean more covers seated in that hour. |

Reservation Conversion | Split of booked reservations into seated, no-show and walk-in outcomes. |
Tips & Best Practices
- Use a wider date range (30–90 days) for the heatmap and turn-time leaderboard — a single busy or quiet day can distort a 7-day view.
- Cross-check Top Selling Items here against Item Popularity for a longer-range trend view before making a menu change.
- A high no-show percentage in Reservation Conversion is worth investigating with a confirmation-call or deposit policy.
